We recognise that building a strong home-school connection is essential for the success of our students, and it remains one of our top priorities. We are deeply committed to fostering relationships with families so we can work in partnership towards our shared goal - each child’s success.
At the beginning of the school year, we invite parents to join information and orientation sessions designed to understand how they can support their child’s ESF learning journey.
We believe in maintaining open lines of communication regarding your child's progress. Scheduled private parent-teacher conferences provide opportunities to discuss achievements and next steps in learning. If needed, additional meetings can be arranged at any time, ensuring that both parents and teachers are aligned in supporting each child's development. Progress updates are provided through reports on each Unit of Inquiry, as well as through our weekly parent eNewsletters, accessible via the ESF app.
We welcome all “important adults” in a child's life—parents, grandparents, and caregivers—to participate in various opportunities, including:
- Share your knowledge or skills with our students as an expert
- Join us as a special storyteller
- Celebrate with us on special days
- Collaborate with us in hands-on learning activities during our shared learning days
- Join us on trips connected with your child’s inquiry learning
These opportunities will be introduced throughout the school year, reinforcing our commitment to working closely with all families.
We value your involvement as we work together to support your child's education and growth.
